Out of Control Dogs was very good.  More tools for training without food or to use to transition from working with food.  Dogs that are fearful or too upset or over stimulated often will not take food rewards.  This was a great addition to my working knowledge!!!

What does the dog say? A look at Barking: Very interesting Lecture. Favorite Take Away: Dogs can run and bark at what they fear (or want to go away) due to Mobbing instinct seen in Wolves that run at Bears or Crows that fly at Eagles. Lots of good info with this one!

Although Medication is the last thing I want to recommend, I like staying up to date on all the options.

Dr. Lore I Haug is a behavioral veterinarian that works out of Sugarland Texas. This was a very good mini course on available drugs that can compliment behavior modification or anxiety issues when necessary. This is an overview of possible prescription drugs that veterinarians may dispense at times. Very good presentation.

The LIMA approach (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive) provides both a standard and guidelines for working with dogs as effectively and humanely as possible. Understanding LIMA and applying it effectively will improve your effectiveness as a trainer and/or behaviorist.

Great webinar helping with understanding canine brains and where aggression can be processed and why this is important.

Interesting perspective from Janice Koler-Matznick, M.S., A.C.A.A.B. on the comparison of dogs to Dingos as opposed to Wolves as the origin of species. Lots of compelling information to learn even more about.
